Meet The Officers

Diya Bhatt is a sophomore studying Business Administration at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and Physics with a concentration in Quantitative Finance. Last summer, she was a Discovery Intern at Deloitte in their Charlotte office. Next summer, she will be a Consulting Intern at Deloitte in their NYC office. In addition to UFS, Diya also serves as the President of the Quantitative Finance Association, Captain of UNC Chalkaa, the Quant Head for BlueBridge Partners, and is currently a GWI Online Intensive Scholar. Diya is also passionate about reading and music.

Nidhi Padala is a sophomore studying Computer Science and Statistics at UNC-Chapel Hill. In addition to QFA, she is also involved in Science Olympiad as Media Chair, Aaj Ka Dhamaka as Safety and Wellness Ambassador, and UNC Chalkaa as a dancer on campus. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and playing video games. This upcoming summer, she will be interning at a startup working with AI in healthcare.

Dev Jijilal is a sophomore business student from Philadelphia. He is minoring in sustainability and data science. Extracurricularly, he is involved with QFA, Communiversity, and PiKA Philanthropy. This summer, he will be working as a private equity summer analyst at Kairos Investments in Irvine, CA. In his free time he enjoys hiking, playing guitar, and watching the Sixers/Eagles.

Cindy Zhang is a sophomore studying Economics and Computer Science at UNC. She will be interning with Deloitte this summer as a consulting discovery intern. She is also part of AASA and CUSA.

Aaron was previously a software developer intern at Creative Combustion Fluid Dynamics (CCFD). He currently works as an assistant researcher for UNC’s Department of Chemistry where he studies the use of VR and AR for laboratory safety and education. Aaron enjoys baking as a hobby and playing chess and other strategy games in his free time. He is also a member of UNC’s Carolina Boxing Club.

Carsen Sharkey is a sophomore from Westfield, New Jersey double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Statistics & Analytics with a minor in Data Science. Last summer, he was an intern at Yorkville Advisors: a hedge fund located in Mountainside, New Jersey. He was recently elected the Head of Mathematics for the Quantitative Finance Association. He is also a member of the Undergraduate Finance Society, Undergraduate Consulting Club, and Scale and Coin Premier Business Society.

Arsh Madhani is a freshman studying Physics with a concentration in Quantitative Finance and Computer Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. Next summer, he will be a Business Risk Data Analyst Intern at American Credit Acceptance. In addition to QFA, Arsh also serves as the Project Manager of the Computer Science for Social Good Beautiful Together Project, Finance Committee Member for TEDxUNC, Quantitative Analyst at Velocity Labs, Member of Tar Heel RAAS, and is currently a Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador.

Yude Wu is a freshman studying Economics at UNC. Last year, she was the president of the National Economics Challenge student office in China. Yude also serves as the Head of Communication for the Quantitative Finance Association.

Rishyendra Medamanuri is a freshman studying computer science and statistics at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a project team member for Computer Science for Social Good, a logistics and communications committee member for HackNC, and a club tennis athlete. This summer, he will be interning as a software engineer at Lowe’s Tech Hub.

Siddhant Rao is a current Junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is an Information Science major double minoring in Data Science and Hindi-Urdu. Outside of QFA, he is the Treasurer of UNC Hindu Yuva and is the Vice President of Career Development for the International Business Club. He aspires to pursue a career in the product management of financial securities and technologies. In his free time, he loves to watch movies and listen to music. 

Patrick Royster is a sophomore studying Economics and Physics with a concentration in Quantitative Finance. This past summer he helped open up an indoor driving range in his hometown of Huntersville, NC. In addition to being QFA’s Head of Outreach, Patrick is a student instructor for UNC Money Think, a member of the Undergraduate Finance Society, and a member of the Tar Heel Alpha Investment Club. In his freetime, Patrick likes to play intramural basketball and watch sports with his friends.

Sara Jadhav is a sophomore majoring in Information & Data Science. She is the Head of Events for QFA and is involved in Chalkaa, Product Management Club, and Busi-Tech. Sara will be interning at Ally Financial as a Risk Management Intern in their Charlotte office this upcoming summer. Sara is also passionate about traveling and watching new TV shows!

Spriha Manjigani is a current sophomore at UNC hoping to study Health Policy and Management with a minor in Data Science. Outside of QFA, she is the president of UNC Rotaract and Chair of Hospitality for UNC Aaj Ka Dhamaka. In her free time, she likes to dance, work on her magazine, and design graphics for various groups!
